A view from above of the quaint city of Ouro Preto. A city with a long history, mainly linked to the mining industry. The city is also called the city of 100 water falls. On any trip around town you will see several of them. The city has many museums celebrating their long rich history.

This is the sleepy town of Paraty. It wasn't always this way, once upon a time it was a stopping point on the way to the mining areas of Minas Gerais. Only 125 miles from Rio it has been inhabited since 1560. Come and see the rich history. Also famed for eco tourism , beaches and scuba.

Olinda in Pernambuco province founded in 1535. Originally colonized by Portuguese then taken over by the Dutch. One can see the Baroque and Dutch influence on the architectural styles. The city is now a center for the arts, and big pre carnival parties.
